About Us

Welcome....This is the story of our family. As the parents of a 3-year old and an 12-year old we are on a non-stop journey through life that includes diapers, teething, soccer, and middle school. Believe it or not, the latter seems to be the most difficult.

Summer Ends

Who knew the summer would be over so soon! We started our summer off with a bang going to see Wicked and visiting Mt. Palomar. We spent the rest of the summer with 1 project, remodeling Rebekah's room. With the kids and their allergies we try really hard to keep the house dust free but Rebekah's room still had carpet so we ripped it up painted and put down bamboo floors. It turned out beautifully. She is very excited. And in case you don't catch the theme Rebekah is infatuated with I Love Lucy. And thanks to her dad she can proudly display her soccer trophies/medals and academic medals.

Mt. Palomar here we come!

We also made some time to take a day trip to Mt. Palomar. With traveling costs what they are it's nice to have so many fun places to visit just a short distance away. We had a great time there.

Rebekah at the observatory.

Jacob and Rebekah listening to the presentation on the computer, okay so Rebekah is listening and Jacob is wondering how to escape down those stairs!

Now came the real fun.....Jacob climbing all over the rocks.

He even got Rebekah to climb with him. She pretends that it's a chore....we know better.

Daddy and Jacob working up an appetite running up those hills.

Finally one of Jacobs favorite time of day, LUNCH. The other two would be dinner and breakfast.

Look at that smile, when he's fed...he's happy.

Summer So Far.....

Well believe it or not I have only been out of school for a little more than a week, but in that time we have been BUSY! We started out our summer with some WICKED fun......literally. Thanks to the generosity o grandpa and Shelia we were able to take Rebekah to see Wicked The Musical at the Pantages in Hollywood. We missed grandpa and Shelia at the show and our thoughts are with her for a speedy recovery! :) Rebekah loved the show as did David and I. It was an amazing performance, that if you ever get the chance to see it, do.

Rebekah at the Pantages!

Rebekah in the Pantages, what a beautiful theatre!
